UPDATE for 2014. Following my update is my original ABOUT ME. Man two years ago. I’m still the same just back to Chunky Monkey status. Hoping to eliminate that this year!
Whew, it’s been a rough 2013 in regards to eating properly and training properly. I let the “BUSY” life become my excuse and with that came weight gain, injury, laziness, etc. You name it and it was probably my excuse. So I’m coming back to 2014 with a better mindset and attitude.
I dare not weigh myself to see how much weight gain I’ve let stack on. Let’s just say, I know I’m big, everyone who knows me knows I’ve gained more than a little weight. It’s life. Part of it. And now I plan to resume to my thinner former self. I still love CrossFit, I still love eating clean. I just need to be more proactive to planning my meals and staying away from temptations.
ORIGINAL ABOUT ME (2011)
Welcome to my small part of the world! I’m new to the blogging world that’s been around for what seems like forever but I’ve had no motivation to start my own. I pretty much told my kid to share his Paleo Lifestyle and CrossFit adventure on a blog and figured I’d do the same 🙂 So here I am. Welcome again and I hope you enjoy what I have to share. If you don’t, that’s fine. I’ll still be here and there’s plenty more crazies out there to read about!
Before & After
My Journey began Mid February 2011 when I decided enough was enough! iChooseFit bootcamp had started a new location right by my house and I had no more excuses. There I went in the freezing cold to get my workout on. Within in 3 months I had dropped 20lbs! From there on out it’s all about continuing the journey to losing weight in a healthy way and getting lean. I had my ups and downs and would lose a few and gain a few. It was definitely frustrating so I decided to add CrossFit into my life at the end of August 2011 (CrossFit Boom) and it’s really helped me put a new perspective on strong and healthy. I don’t have a need to look like a runway model or supreme athlete but I have a need to be fit and healthy. I am now 30lbs lighter than I was back in February and so much stronger than I could have ever imagined. I do both the iChooseFit bootcamp and CrossFit and I feel great! Below are just a couple of pics of me and you can definitely see the difference!
I typically shy away from pictures of myself so I was having a hard time finding anything and gee whiz I found a horrible pic that’s blurry and not full body but oh well. Even though I’ve lost weight I still shy away from pics but I have a couple for you to see. So here I am:

Thanks Annette! It’s been a roller coaster but I think I’m a good solid course now 🙂
